Two Teeth

Eloise is seven months old and has two teeth to show for it. Her favorite game now is peek-a-boo and she still thinks her daddy is absolutely hilarious. She will just stare at him, waiting for him to do something funny. She is full of energy and very social. She gets very excited when she sees other kids or babies. She is generally a very happy baby. If you look really closely you can see her bottom two teeth.

Williamsburg Farmer's Market

We are now in Williamsburg and it is hot and humid. For some reason I don't remember the humidity in Florida being this bad. Maybe it was because we lived on the coast and the coastal breeze made the humidity more tolerable. I definitely prefer the dry heat. Besides that, I think we will enjoy living in Williamsburg.

We had a great time at the farmer's market on Saturday. They set up the market in Colonial Williamsburg, a beautiful area.

Moving to Virginia

Nick, Eloise, and I trekked across the country to move to Williamsburg, VA. The reason for the big move is that Nick is attending the two-year MBA program at William and Mary. We made it to DC in 6 days, where we stayed for 3 nights (thanks to Abby and Chase), waiting for our moving truck to arrive. Eloise handled the trip very well. For the most part, we traveled during her naps. When she woke up we would find a grassy spot to lay a blanket on where we could feed her and let her play for an hour or so. Then when she got sleepy we would pack her up and drive again for another 2-3 hours.
Of course, there were times that she was fussy.
We took a detour to Chicago and stayed there for a couple days. We were pretty happy that we got such a great deal on our hotel that was right downtown (thanks to Lizzie), but unfortunately we found out we had to pay $36 a day for parking per car (we had two cars). That realization shortened our stay in Chicago, but we made the best of it.
While we were in Chicago, we visited the aquarium. Eloise loved it, but she got frustrated because she couldn't touch the fish.

This is the bed and breakfast we stayed at in Omaha, NE.

Eloise and Grandma

Cecret Lake

Before moving away from the gorgeous mountains in Utah we went hiking with Jane up Little Cottonwood Canyon to Cecret Lake.

We are really going to miss the mountains.

Eloise and Alice

These two little cousins are only 2 weeks apart in age. It is so fun to watch them as they now interact.
Unfortunately, sometimes their "interacting" isn't so sweet...
retaliation for Alice...
...and they're friends again. It's amazing how fast these little ones can change their moods.
