Grandma and Grandpa are here!

We had a great time while my parents were out visiting. For the most part, the weather was beautiful and we were able to get out quite a bit. We visited the Jamestown settlement and of course, walked around Colonial Williamsburg. There were a few days that I needed to catch up on some sleep and they were very helpful to take care of Eloise. They read to her, took her swimming, and took her to Yankee Candle. She had so much fun!

Super Sister

My sister is amazing. At home she has two girls to take care of, but somehow she finds time to keep her house immaculately clean and she always finds time to cook dinner. On top of that, she finds time to exercise and has side jobs, such as cutting hair and catering. She also always seems to be cooking dinners for some family in need.

I have found that it takes a lot of time, work, and energy to take care of two kids. I'm lucky if I've showered and brushed my teeth at the end of the day. When Brittany visited us, our house was always clean, she did our laundry every day, she helped cook, she played with Eloise and took her to the park, and she cut Nick's and my hair.
While having a picnic on the William and Mary campus, Eloise decided to play peek-a-boo to passersby.

Two Kids

Eloise busy getting into things. She couldn't reach what she wanted on the dresser so she found her wipes container and used it as a stool. William peacefully sleeping.

Mimi's here!

I was so grateful to have Diane come out for a few days. She was such a huge help. She would get Eloise out of bed in the morning and read to her, feed her breakfast, dress her, and take her outside to play. It was so nice to catch up on some sleep. Eloise is saying, "Baby William's nose, eyes, wheeps (lips)"
